Our effective and solid sea pot is developed for both professional and recreational fishing. We work closely with fishers and suppliers in Canada and the USA/Alaska.
There the pots have contributed to increased catch, better quality and higher earnings, as well as improved safety. The pots can stay in the sea for up to 7 days and, compared with net fishing, there is no need to pull the pots every day when, for example, the weather is poor. Among other things, these pots have been used continuously for 4 years on large ocean-going fishing vessels with very good results.
The pots are neither worn out nor damaged. The Silky coil pot is made from galvanized 8 mm spring steel. It is built with double seams so that it withstands hard use over time. It has a built-in bag for quick emptying. The entrance has a diameter of 26 cm and is designed so that the fish cannot escape. The pot is foldable and has a size of 75x170 cm when extended. It weighs 9 kg. The Silky coil pots need no floats and fish regardless of which side faces up. They fish well under demanding conditions with strong current.
